ESSENTIAL FUNCTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with research scientists from multidisciplinary teamsUse chemical engineering as an enabling technology to develop new technologies in various applications, such as water& process technologiesResponsible for materials preparation and characterization, device fabrication and process developmentFlexible among programs ranging from long-term and exploratory research to applied research & development to serve many GE businesses This is an Equal Employment OpportunityQUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
PhD/Ms. in Chemical Engineering/Electrochemical Engineering/Environmental Engineering, experiences in water processing engineering is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills to work effectively in a cross-functional development team
Self-starter, independent thinker, proactive problem solver
Excellent ability to consider overall problem, identify opportunities and implement major changes
Motivated by quality, cost and speed
