Position: Resources Recovery Manager
Location: Guiyang

Main Objective:
-To understand the backdrop of waste activities suitable for alternative fuel and alternative raw material.
-To identify opportunities
-To define and implement the sustainable conditions to supply cement plants in Guizhou with alternative fuel and alternative raw material

Responsibilities:
-To understand regulations directly or indirectly influencing the wastes market in a way as to encourage the use of AF and ARM.
-To know the waste market (production, collection disposal ways), to know the different player and their practices. To maintain state-of-the-art knowledge in all these areas
-To define market segmentation aiming at targeting waste categories and customers segments which could bring sustainable activity
-To perform studies on specific waste streams and/or customer segment which may provide market opportunities
-To gather and analyse all information related to market intelligence
-To formalize customer’s needs and expectations which may help to make the sourcing sustainable
-To suggest the evolution of the specifications allowing the develop/increase of alternative fuel use
-To suggest strategy for market selection and conquest based on the strength/weakness and opportunity/threat type analyse.
-To analyse the interest for potential partnership with waste management companies and to build the structural and/or contractual partnerships needed for developing Resource Recovery activity. Ensure follow up of partnerships
-To contribute to budget and reporting, and more generally, prepare all analysis with regard to strategic marketing which will serve the Guizhou BU decision making process
-To suggest a pricing policy
-To make maximum use of expertise.
-To contribute to lobbying and to the promotion of co-processing in Guizhou province
-Build the structural and/or contractual partnerships needed for developing Resource Recovery activity. Ensure follow up of partnerships.
-Establish action plans to develop selected waste lines, in co-ordination with all involved BU management (Communications, Legal, Financial, Production, Plants, etc.)
-Monitor the BU's handling of key success factors (Service orientation, internal/external communication, obtaining permits, technical modifications, etc.)
-Manage action plans as multi-disciplinary projects bringing together all the necessary competencies
-Set up a client-oriented structure for co-incineration (chemical analyses, scheduling, management and administration of materials acceptance, including refusal)
-Provide documentation on the BU's strategic review of waste issues, as well as on the PIPs and the planning cycle performance plans. Validate reporting on the activity.
-Make maximum use of zone and Division structures (Technical Centres and Industrial Ecology, respectively); be an active RR community member by participating in experience transfer and knowledge sharing in the RR field.

Requirements:
- English at least intermediate to be able to take benefit of all the existing RR documentation and to communicate easily with region resources recovery manager and expatriate experts.
- Basic technical background needed for understanding and discussing technical issues. A bachelor degree with major in scientific or technical matter is required in order to understand easily cement process and its constraints and to analyse the waste production processes to identify the possible limitation of using the waste in cement plant.
-3-5 years experience in sale or marketing.
- An experience in sector as lubricant, basic chemical, fine chemical and working in a Sino-foreign JV are plus.
