Profile, Qualifications, Experience:

l Minimum 8 years practice experience (MNEs’ legal departments, law firms, judiciary)
l Education: graduated from China law school. Oversea legal education/practice experience is preferred.
l Qualified Chinese lawyer with strong knowledge/practice on intellectual property law, civil and criminal laws and judicial procedures. Experience in handling or supervising administrative, criminal & civil investigations & litigation matters, and in working with law enforcement as well as judicial and prosecution system.
l Business-oriented, with exceptional communication skills, comfortable working as part of team, and eager to interact with diverse group of people spanning range of business teams and executives at Microsoft, as well as various vendors (law firms, investigators, forensic specialists) working on behalf of Microsoft.
l Languages (written and spoken): English required.

Responsibilities primarily focused on:

l Outreach to the Central/Local IPR enforcement agencies, industry associations and influential’s and other stakeholders to strengthen MS IP position.
l Drive software IPR protection policy, lead enforcement actions against infringing Microsoft’s intellectual property rights through administrative, civil and criminal approach;
l As member of China IP/AP team, work closely with IP colleagues and various business teams to develop and implement Microsoft IP strategies in China.
