POSITION SUMMARY: Describe the overall purpose of this position. Include dimensions (e.g., number of customers, amount of revenue, budgets or payroll information) and areas of responsibility.
1. Be responsible for overall production and logistic affairs of the Plant.
2. Responsible for the project management with coordination.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: List the 5 to 7 major results or outcomes of this position. List them in descending order of importance.
1. monitor and improve the all plant operations, manufacturing, production planning, production control, material planning, quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives
2. be a pro-active role in strategy and planning, in representative operational and functional activities, management and organization
3. aligns plant production objectives with overall business unit strategy, develop manufacturing objectives consistent with existing sales, projected sales forecasts and inventory requirements
4. provide leadership and direction to develop and execute product line manufacturing plans that support the business needs
5. direct operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete on-time delivery
6. direct and implementation sound manufacturing policies and practices throughout the plant
7. build, develop and manage team capable of carrying out needed operations strategies and improving associate relations
8. drive operation excellence throughout the plant, develop and implement best practices
9. provide manufacturing engineering leadership to support operations, ensure process controls and improvements are generated to increase equipment efficiency, output and quality
10. develop annual operating plans for the site, manpower forecasts, and department budgets
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: List the minimum education and/or experience necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position. Include licenses or certificates required.
1. more than 10 years’ manufacturing experience in manufacturing, at least five years as a plant manager in an ISO environment, work experience in international company is preferred
2. a bachelor’s degree, preferably in an Engineering or Science major, master of science degree desirable
3. demonstrated success with the development and implementation of manufacturing and general business policies, controls and procedures
4. overseas experience preferred, two more plant management experience preferred
5. proven track record of mentoring, coaching, and developing teams; possess a high level of integrity and business ethics
6. fluent English ,Spanish and Mandarin
7. strong capabilities to summarise complex business issues into key points that will enhance better decision making
8. analyse problems from a process perspective, considering the inter-dependencies of variables
