Job Summary
As a Localization Engineer, you will be responsible fthe end-to-end localization of our software UI, website, technical documentation Simplified Chinese. You will work closely with cross-functional teams — including R&D, UX/UI, Technical Writing — to deliver high-quality localized content support our globalization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
61 Translate UI strings, website content, technical documentation from English Simplified Chinese.
61 Collaborate with engineers technical writers to clarify linguistic technical ambiguities.
61 Support localization workflows, including file preparation post-processing using CAT tools.
61 Coordinate with global local teams to align on release schedules, terminology, localization best practices.
Required Qualifications
61 Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Localization, Linguistics, Computer Science, Engineering, a related field
61 Native fluency in Simplified Chinese strong proficiency in English (CET-6 equivalent)
61 2–5 years of experience in software localization technical translation
61 Proficiency in CAT tools such as Déjà Vu, SDL Trados, memoQ
61 Familiarity with DTP tools formats (e.g., Adobe FrameMaker, InDesign)
61 Experience working with global teams; background in simulation engineering is preferred
