● Define Operational Technology (OT) scope within Global Engineering projects:
● Ensure OT solutions align with project scope
● Provide technical expertise during capital project design - from concept through to detailed design equipment/system selection
● Communicate site project requirements to vendors
● Implement Industry 4.0 technologies to establish Smart Factories Autonomous Manufacturing.
● Own the OT-aspects of Global Engineering projects in China overseas:
● Work within a dynamic team environment to deliver complex projects.
● Establish strong positive partnerships with:
● Project Managers, Project Technical Managers, vendors during all phases of projects.
● Site Manufacturing Operations Quality teams: to ensure quality security of supply to our patients.
● Site Global IT: to ensure alignment of data standards infrastructure to enable AstraZeneca’s Autonomous Manufacturing vision.
● Global Engineering team: to both champion learn from best practices.
You will need to have:
● Fluent spoken Chinese good spoken English
● Strong expertise of either SCADA/PLC DCS to include specification, procurement, installation, start-up, commissioning.
● Bachelor’s degree (equivalent experience will be considered) in an Engineering related discipline.
● Experience in one of the following:
● IT OT architectures fmanufacturing environments
● Integration with IT Systems
● Warehouse Control Systems, AGVs, Robotics
● Understanding of OT cybersecurity
● Engineering standards development governance
Advantageous to have experience of:
● Pharmaceutical Manufacturing areas including API, Biotechnology,al Solid Dosage, Formulation Fill, Packaging, Medical Devices
● Current GMP regulations an understanding of regulatory agency expectations current industry practices. Experience from a different, non-Pharma, regulated industry would also be relevant.
