Job Summary
This position will be involved various R&D projects in the field of smart manufacturing will contribute to the digitalization of Saint-Gobain Research Shanghai different plants.
1. Design develop Data Analytics routines, machine learning/data mining methods to be applied mainly fprocess control and/quality control.
2. Support of business/plants ftransfer success of optical NDE (non-destructive evaluation) inspection systems
3. Identify potential patentable development develop technologies resulting in patents.
Principal Accountabilities (% of time, Responsibility)
1. Strictly follow company EHS & 5S policies regulations. Follow R&D personnels individual EHS responsibilities listed in EHS Responsibilities Management Program. (5%)
2. Develop maintain smart manufacturing solutions, data analysis routines machine learning/data mining methods to be used in measurement projects/big data applications fprocess control and/quality control in SG plants BU R&D activities (20%)
3. Work closely with BU R&D SG plants in China to get familiar with the SG products their production process, quality control requirement including measurement systems. Support the plants in Smart manufacturing/I4.0 projects gather knowledge in such solution (advantages drawbacks). (20%)
4. Develop maintain different APPs GUIs, fthe implementation deployment of developed data/image analysis algorithms. (20%)
5. Develop maintain NDE optical inspection systems to be used in quality control fdifferent plants of Saint-Gobain in China (glass fautomotive, abrasives, plastics, ceramics). (20%)
6. Initiate nurturing/exploratory projects to develop innovative solutions which will prepare the future of mobility. (10%)
7. Other task assigned by supervis(5%)
Qualifications
1. Master degree above, with majin data science, computer science relevant majors
2. Proficiency in programing with Python, familiar with other languages such as JavaScript C++ is preferred.
3. Good knowledge in statistics, machine learning machine vision，
4. Familiar with GUI software development with different tools such as QT, familiar with web APP development is preferred.
5. Experience with database is preferred.
6. Interests ffundamental research product development, passion fhigh deliverables, openness to multi-culture environment.
7. Fluent English.
