Job Summary
Reporting to the Directof China Operations, the Sourcing Manager identifies, evaluates, negotiates, develops manages supplier vendrelationships to secure terms that are in theganization’s best interest throughout the APAC region. Ensures sourcing activities are in alignment with corporate category strategies.
Essential Duties Responsibilities
Responsibilities
1、Identify suppliers who can provide products and/services that meet company requirements based on price, quality, design, production capabilities, service
2、Provide input related to supplier capabilities, capacity, competitive customers, related information to U.S. Sourcing Product Management teams
3、Develop maintain strong partnership with external vendors, including frequent vendsite visits
4、Support development, distribution, collection, analysis, negotiation of Requests fQuote (RFQs) fboth New Product Development sustaining business; provideganize appropriate data to assist in vendselection
5、Perform data analysis related to quote comparison annual impact
6、maintain SAP data related to vendpricing
7、Monitensure vendor’s capacity, competencies, performance meet expectations prepare contingency plans when required to proactively address supply chain risk
8、Provide support to project management team as required to ensure the timely implementation of sourcing projects
9、Support annual price & incoterms negotiation with suppliers report results to U.S. Sourcing team
10、Any other duties assigned from time-to-time by line Manager U.S. Sourcing team
Monitoring
1、MonitRegional Global commodity FX indices fuse in managing supplier Index Agreements
2、Provide forward looking estimates of pricing as inputs annual budgeting process
3、Periodically publish supply chain risk analysis studies fassigned vendors recommend contingency plans
Knowledge, Skills Abilities
4、Possesses good negotiation communication skills ability to interact with other departments
5、Excellentganization communication skills, written & verbal
6、Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, & Outlook)
7、Working knowledge of SAP preferred
8、Strong analytical skills, with ability to identify, understand, communicate total cost of ownership calculations
Education and/Experience
1、5+ years sourcing experience in APAC region
2、Experience in residential commercial lighting required
3、Bachelor’s Degree from an overseas college university; 3+ years related experience in a WFOE preferred
4、Bi-lingual; English Mandarin
5、Willingness to travel as needed (approx. 50%)
