Calix Functional Test Team is recruiting a Experienced Systems Test Engineer in Nanjing, China. The successful candidate will perform test design execution activities, including:
61Verification of Access Switch/ONU, Layer 2 protocol, capacity/stress/robustness/performance testing
61Testing against specifications customer use cases of our access product portfolio, including Ethernet GPON/NGPON/XGSPON/AE technologies
Responsibilities:
61Perform service test of various access products including ONT OLT
61Perform Layer2 function test, such as: LAG, ERPS-RING, DHCPv4/v6, PPPoE, LLDP, LACP, G.8032, Y.1731, OAM, NE, SDN etc.
61Perform systems test, such as scaling, capacity, stress, robustness, performance, etc.
61Participate in the development of the test strategy test cases fGPON/NGPON/XGSPON/AE
61Evaluate hardware software features by documenting, automating, executing feature system level test cases
61Setup maintain the automation test bench, automate test cases fnew product requirements
61Perform regression testing on new software hardware fdata, VoIP, video, QoS…
61Write clear, concise, understandable problem descriptions test reports
61Reproduce field issues validate their resolution
61Collaborate with global team to understtesting requirements provide feedback on the architecture designs
Basic Qualifications:
61Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, equivalent (Master’s degree preferred)
61Over 5 years of system testing experience in the network industry
61Solid testing experience with technologies such as LAG, ERPS-RING, DHCPv4/v6, PPPoE, LLDP, LACP, G.8032, Y.1731, OAM, etc.
61Strong test skills on large multi-processor-based systems
61Extensive experience with scaling tests
61Proficiency in automation skills: Linux Shell/Python
61Strong verbal written English skills
Preferred Qualifications:
61Strong analytical problem-solving skills
61Experience with NFV SDN
