威世公司创立于1962年, 总部位于美国宾夕法尼亚洲。威世公司逐渐从*初的创立发展成为生产这些原始产品的*的制造商，从1985年起公司开始了一系列的战略性收购行动以发展成为一个多样化电子元件产品的制造商，为客户提供“一站式”服务。 今天的威世已经成为世界上***的分立半导体和无源电子元件的制造商之一。目前，威世在全球17 个国家设有工厂，员工数量超过25，000人。
威世半导体（西安）有限公司属于威世集团在华的全资子公司，属于西安高新区管辖的全外资企业，现有人数300人左右。目前封装生产的产品包括肖特基二极管(半桥)、快恢复二极管、晶闸管、MOSFET等器件类型。封装形式现有TO-220、TO-247、D2PAK、Power Tab、Super247、FULLPAK、 DPAK、D61，未来会陆续从国外搬迁和引入更多的封装类型。

Vishay was founded in 1962, the location of headquater is in Pennsylvania,US. The Company began operations with foil resistors and strain gages as its initial product offerings. In 1985, having grown from a start-up into the world's leading manufacturer of these original products, Vishay began an ongoing series of strategic acquisitions to become a broad-line manufacturer of electronic components that provides "one-stop shop" service to customers. Today, Vishay is one of the world's largest manufacturers of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components.Vishay has plants in seventeen countries and employing over 25,000 people.
Vishay Micro-Electronic（Xi'an) Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Vishay Group. The company is located in Xi’an Hi-tech Industry Development Zone, PRC. At present, there are about 600 people in Vishay Xi’an. Now the products in our company include SCHOTTKY, FAST RECOVERY EPI DIES and THYRISTOR. The package types include TO-220, TO-247, D2PAK, Power Tab, Super247, FULLPAK, DPAK and D61. In the future, we will transfer and fan-in more package types.
