You will report directly to the Merchandiser Manager at our Shanghai Office.
This is the job
As Assistant merchandiser, you will be responsible fnegotiation with suppliers, follow upders from beginning until delivery.
You are a point of contact with suppliers, building maintaining strong relationships with them. You monitsuppliers performance manage relations.
You will also have close communication with other team-members located in Copenhagen Shanghai on daily operations; as key problem solver, you act as a critical link between headquarter suppliers.
The role is crucial to understhow to optimize suppliers’ performance work on contingency plans in all aspects.
Responsibilities
80Dailyder Management including but not limited toder placement, product data checking,der execution, adjustment,der follow up, cancellation efficiently
80Master data updates & maintenance in system
80Close follow-up on ourders to secure on time deliveries
80Close communication on additionalder requests, cancellations, ETD, compliance, quality issues
80Suppliers’ management i.e., on negotiation of price, MOQ delivery
80Cooperate effectively with internal external stakeholders to ensure process smoothly completed
80Be proactive with problem solving initiatives, diagnosing production problems working with suppliers to present viable alternatives
80Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (commercial, planning, compliance, quality, CSR teams, logistics, etc.) on different activities - such as pre-product testing, factory evaluation social compliance audit
Qualifications
80As Assistant merchandiser, you hold a bachelors’ degree in international trade, and/min. 3 years relevant work
80Commercial mind-set understanding of European business sales
80Basic product/production/industry knowledge; familiar with supplier management ability to effectively communicate with internal external stakeholders
80Constant improvement mindset way of working, follow-up, analyze find solutions
80Excellent negotiation skills
80High accuracy level attention to details
80Proficient in English bothal written
80Fantastic time management skills, ability to prioritize work multitask, extremelyganized
80Good experience in system operation (i.e., PLM, ERP, AX, etc.)
80Microsoft super user is a must, especially in Excel
As a person you must be structured, efficient, proactive detailiented. You are used to work under short deadlines, act communicate professionally with a positive attitude team-player mindset – also during busy periods.
