AECOM is seeking an EHS Social Consultant based in Shanghai Shenzhen, China. The consultant will be responsible fensuring environment, health safety (EHS) labhuman rights (LHR) compliance with applicable regulations client-specific requirements. The role requires an individual that is wellganized, an engaging communicator, is able to function in a collaborative team role while still working independently.
Responsibilities:
• Track on the latest regulation standard updates in China;
• Patriciate in lead the EHS Social audits based on local interntional regulation requirement, industrial practice, specific audit protocals;
• Utilize risk-based pre-assessment post assessment method to provide thorough assessments recommendations;
• Provide the interpretation of China regulation enforcement system provide support to related projects;
• Collaborate with different teams on effective communication excecusionp
• Actively communicate with project manager project team to ensure the alignment implementation of client’s requirement; and
• Partner with other senimembers to provide EHS LHR training to clients AECOM internal teams.
Requirements:
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role working with EHS Social Assessment / Risk solutions implementing medium to large sized projects.
• At least 2 years’ auditing experiences in manufacturing, electronics, chemical, pharmacuitical, high tech industries;
• Bachelmaster’s degree in environmental, chemical, related engineering majors;
• Hands on experience managing, implementing, supporting short long term project;
• Knowledge of China EHS labregulation enforcement;
• Supericommunication skills working individually as a group;
• Ability to travel up to 50% to perform field audits on average (travel requirements may fluctuate based on seasonal project requirements);
• Excellent English writing skills;
• Computer skills including MS Office (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). AI collaboration data management experience is a plus;
• Quick leaner, good team player, enthusiastic about new technololgy innovation is preferred; and
• Recognized professional EHS certification is preferred, such as certified safety engineer, fire engineer, CIH, CSP, ISO 14000 auditor, ISO 45000 auditor, etc.
