Reporting to: Finance Director, Country
SeniAccounting Manager/Finance Controller is responsible foverseeing the accounting function within the Finance Department. This role is pivotal in managing overall accounting operations ensuring compliance with both management statutory requirements. The position also involves refining, managing, implementingganizational structures, systems, processes to maintain robust internal controls over all financial activities.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with the Finance Directto develop implement improvements aimed at achieving all financial objectives.
• Oversee general accounting operations, including inter-company accounting, account reconciliations, financial reporting (HFM), balance sheet management. Provide technical GAAP guidance support to company entities, ensuring timely accurate application of accounting principles.
• Ensure that the Accounting, Taxation, Treasury, Payroll, Tax teams possess the necessary skills knowledge.
• Identify manage the companys financial treasury risks, ensuring adherence to accountability performance standards.
• Monitcoordinate monthly closing activities, review monthly/quarterly account reconciliations, other documentation to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements ftax return preparation, regulatory filings, company consolidation purposes.
• Oversee capital expenditure, investments, the establishment dissolution of entities.
• Optimize processes related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, intercompany transactions, VAT invoice management to enhance efficiency resolve payment issues.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of operational issues, providing insights recommendations to management, including advice on compliance with Tax Accounting regulations.
• Serve as the primary contact fall audit requirements, liaising with internal external audit processes.
Competencies/Other Requirements:
• BA/BS degree in Accounting Finance; a solid understanding of accounting principles is required if the degree is in Finance.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience, including supervisory and/management roles, with recent experience in financial management within a project-based service-based environment.
• Proficiency in financial accounting software reporting tools, includingacle, Hyperion Planning, HFM, as well as all MS Office applications necessary ffinancial analysis.
• Experience managing multiple functional disciplines a single highly specialized complex function.
• Proven leadership abilities in multicultural possibly multinational settings.
• Demonstrated capacity to form, lead, develop high-performing teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departmental functions within global, multicultural teams.
