Accountabilities:
1. LEGAL PROCEDURES PROCESS: Contribute to the development implementation of legal procedures processes, taking account global policy guidelines, local regulations.
2. ETHICS & COMPLIANCE PROGRAM MANAGEMENT, PROCESS: Managing overseeing Kiwa China’s Ethics & Compliance program:
• Contributing to the development, implementation monitoring of compliance culture, procedures processes, taking account Kiwa’s global Ethics & Compliance program (i.e. Code of Conduct, policies guidelines) local compliance policies and
guidelines; related to topics such as Anti Bribery Anti Corruption, Trade Sanctions Export Control, Third Party Due Diligence & Qualified Introducer Management, Privacy, Competition Law Speak-Up (together with HR)
• Privacy Officer responsibilities (i.e. registration of personal data processing activities Data Privacy Impact Assessments).
• Contributing to the continuous development of awareness (i.e. assisting businesses with understanding) regarding implementing, operating monitoring the Ethics & Compliance Program, its policies its procedures;
• Contributing to M&A projects from Ethics & Compliance perspective (i.e. compliance Due Diligence) managing E&C Integration after an acquisition.
• Developing maintaining good work processes fcontributing to investigation handling of E&C issues incidents.
3. LEGAL ENTITY MANAGEMENT (Corporate Housekeeping) AND
Corporate GOVERNANCE: Ensures good efficient legal entity structure governance in Kiwa China; Contribute to development management of Kiwa China governance structure.
4. M&A Integrations: Contribute to M&A projects from legal compliance perspectives manage legal part of Integrations after successful M&A.
5. CONTRACT MATTERS RISK ASSESSMENT: Draft, review manage a variety of contracts legal documents. Assess processes, procedures, structures, products services from a legal compliance point of view advise on legal, compliance reputational risks;
Perform regular legal risk checks/assessments provide overview/reports to management.
6. ADVICE EXECUTION: Advice partner on legal matters, execute legal activities contribute to the development of products services. Manage the local legal matters in relation with IP trademarks.
Monitreport on laws regulations developments, assessing the impact fKiwa China its operating units, advise on the implementation phase contribute on behalf of Kiwa China to regulatory initiatives, together with the Kiwa global local quality team.
Ensure compliance with all local regulations legislation.
7. DISPUTE MANAGEMENT: Coordinate management of disputes, incidents, claims litigation manage external contacts with legal advisors.
8. LEGAL DOCUMENTATION: Draft (legal) documents papers, such as memos, agreements, policies, guidelines standards, register manage contracts according to legal / compliance procedures. Negotiates frame agreements other contractual terms in collaboration with relevant business managers.
9. COURT TRIALS: Advise represent theganization, with outside counsel as required, on trying settling court trials/cases.
10. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Represent theganization in national international contacts, consult external lawyers if necessary manage the relationship with these external lawyers, according to internal procedures guidelines.
11. LEADERSHIP & KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT: A key member of Kiwa China management team, lead manage legal compliance function by executing the Kiwa China Legal strategy team; Exchange share legal knowledge, contribute to the Kiwa Group Legal Community, proactively inform management about legal developments coach more junicolleagues in professional development.
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree higher in Law from a prestigious domestic international university. Admitted to the Bar (hold a Legal Professional Qualification Certificate).
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of legal experience. Experience in MNCs is a strong plus.
• Language: Supericommof both Chinese English (written spoken). Must be able to use English as a working language fcomplex cross-border legal matters business negotiations.

• Business Acumen: Possesses strong business thinking. Goes beyond simply saying "no" to providing feasible legal advice on "how to" achieve business objectives, effectively balancing risk reward.
• Communication & Influence: Outstanding cross-functional communication executive reporting skills. Able to clearly articulate legal risks to non-legal management drive the implementation of compliance policies internally.
• Resilience & Decision Making: Ability to remain calm during crises (e.g., regulatory investigations, sudden litigation) make accurate legal judgments response plans swiftly.
Management Capabilities:
• External Resource Management: Strong network of external law firms experts. Ability to effectively evaluate manage the cost quality of external legal service providers.
