About the Role:
We are seeking a Fabric Technology Specialist with a strong technical background in apparel textile development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in fabric testing, performance evaluation, quality control, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in English collaborate with international teams.
Key Responsibilities:
61 Evaluate approve fabrics to meet product performance quality standards.
61 Work closely with design, product development, merchandising teams to ensure fabric suitability fcollections.
61 Manage fabric testing processes (colorfastness, shrinkage, handfeel, durability, etc.) coordinate with third-party labs.
61 Maintain the fabric library technical database.
61 Communicate with suppliers to resolve quality technical issues.
61 Provide technical guidance on fabric performance, sustainability, innovation.
Requirements:
61 Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fabric Science, related field.
61 Minimum 3–5 years of fabric technology experience in the apparel industry.
61 Strong knowledge of woven knit fabrics, garment testing, textile performance.
61 Excellent English communication skills (written spoken).
61 Detail-oriented, analytical, capable of managing multiple projects.
61 Experience working with fast fashion international brands is an advantage.
