We are seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to join our Signals team in Shanghai, focusing on building robust, scalable backend services fAI-powered features across our product portfolio. You will be responsible fdesigning implementing microservices architecture, integrating AI capabilities, ensuring high availability performance of our SaaS platform, while leveraging modern AI coding assistants to maximize productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, maintain scalable backend services APIs fAI-powered applications
Build optimize microservices architecture to support distributed AI workloads
Integrate LLM AI agent capabilities backend systems
Troubleshoot resolve complex issues in distributed systems production environments
Implement robust errhandling, monitoring, logging solutions
Optimize database queries system performance fhigh-traffic SaaS applications
Collaborate with frontend engineers, AI engineers, product teams on feature development
Leverage AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) to write high-quality code efficiently
Participate in architecture design, code reviews, technical documentation
Ensure security, scalability, reliability of backend services

Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Bachelors degree above in Computer Science related field
5+ years of professional experience in enterprise application development
Strong proficiency in Python (preferred) Java
Solid experience with microservices architecture design patterns
Hands-on experience building maintaining SaaS applications
Proven experience troubleshooting debugging distributed systems in production
Proficient in using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) fefficient development
Experience with RESTful API design implementation
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/Alibaba Cloud)
Understanding of database systems (SQL NoSQL)
Experience with containerization (Docker)chestration (Kubernetes)
Knowledge of message queues event-driven architectures
Strong problem-solving analytical skills
Language:
Ability to use English as a working language fdaily communication, documentation, collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience integrating LLM APIs building AI-powered backend services
Knowledge of vectdatabases semantic search technologies
Familiarity with observability tools (Sumologic, Instana, etc.)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices
Understanding of security best practices compliance requirements
Experience with high-concurrency high-availability system design
