Position Overview
We are seeking a Fund Operations Associate to serve as the central link between our investment team, external service providers, regulatory bodies. The successful candidate will be responsible fthe operations, compliance, finance reporting of our offshore funds (Cayman, BVI), ensuring all activities comply with fund constitutions, regulatory requirements, internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Operations Management
Handle daily fund operations, including trade booking, settlement, cash position reconciliation, expense payments;
Coordinate oversee the work of external service providers such as fund administrators, custodians, legal counsel, auditors;
Support fund accounting, including valuation, NAV calculation, performance reporting.
InvestServices
Process investsubscriptions, redemptions, cash transfers, related operational workflows, ensuring accuracy compliance;
Prepare deliver periodic reports to investors.
Trading Support
Manage brokerage account opening, maintenance, related operational matters;
Assist the investment team in developing maintaining relationships with external resources providers such as brokerages research institutions.
Compliance & Risk Management
Assist in fund compliance operations to meet regulatory requirements;
Participate in the development of internal policies procedures to improve operational efficiency risk control level.
Other Responsibilities
Carry out any other duties responsibility given by Management
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in fund operations, asset management operations, fund administration, with familiarity in Cayman/BVI fund structures offshore fund compliance requirements;
Strong communication coordination skills, with the ability to effectively engage external service providers (brokers, law firms, auditors, administrators, etc.);
Solid financial data analysis skills, with proficiency in fund valuation, accounting principles, financial/accounting software;
Fast learner with strong problem-solving skills; excellent written spoken English required;
University Graduate with Finance, Accounting, Law, Economics, related background is preferred;
Candidates with investment research experience is preferred.
