Job Responsibilities
As an Application Developer within Global Financial Markets, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, implementing innovative software solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
• Software Development: Developing, testing, deploying high-quality, scalable, resilient applications fGlobal Financial Markets, utilizing modern programming languages frameworks.
• Generative AI Machine Learning: Engaging in the development integration of Generative AI (GenAI) Machine Learning (ML) models financial applications, contributing to advanced analytical predictive capabilities. This may involve working with GenAI/ML platforms leveraging services.
• System Design Architecture: Participating in the architectural design of new existing systems, ensuring they meet business requirements adhere to best practices in terms of performance, security, scalability.
• DevOps CI/CD: Implementing maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software delivery processes, ensuring efficient reliable deployments.
• Collaboration: Working closely with traders, quants, product managers, other developers to understbusiness needs translate them technical solutions.
• Troubleshooting Support: Providing technical support troubleshooting fproduction issues, ensuring high availability performance of critical applications.
• Documentation: Creating maintaining comprehensive technical documentation fapplications systems.
• Innovation: Staying abreast of emerging technologies industry trends, particularly in areas like AI/ML, cloud computing, financial technology, to drive continuous improvement innovation within the team.
Requirements
• 5+ years of working experience with Bachelor’s master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, a related field.
• Proven experience in software development, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Strong proficiency in one more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Go).
• Experience with strong interest in Generative AI Machine Learning concepts applications. Familiarity with ML platforms tools (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of relational NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, OCP) cloud-native application development.
• Familiarity with DevOps principles CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of financial markets products processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an agile, fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Front-end development experience (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular) is a plus ffull-stack roles.
• Priprofessional experience in FinTech, top-tier brokerages, investment banks, quantitative hedge funds.
