Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced SeniCost Controller to join
our team. This role is critical in overseeing robust cost management systems,
providing insightful financial analysis, ensuring operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional who can not only manage
complex cost controlling tasks but also support foundational accounting tax
activities during our early growth stages.
Key Responsibilities:
1. As Finance BP of Project Manager, actual project cost, review cost-to-go, provisional cost, cash curve, risks & opportunities on monthly basis.
2. Participate in project reviews with main focuses on reviewing challenging project financial performance. Provide advice to management team on project financial improvement.
3. Support project managers on different project financial matters such as bank guarantee, hedging, taxes, VAT refund, etc.
4. Work with Project Operation teams to prepare annual budget forecast, review with management team, submit reporting tool.
5. Calculate hourly rate during annual budget process publish at the beginning of next year.
6. Prepare analyze Monthly Finance Review file. Identify analyze deviations on Actual vs Forecast / Budget, propose action plans to improve financial result.
7. In the initial company setup phase, handle core
accounting tasks including bookkeeping, journal entries, account
reconciliations, monthly IFRS Statutory reporting.
8. In the initial company setup phase, manage tax compliance, including preparations filings, liaising with external tax advisors as necessary.
9. Serve as a key point of contact fexternal stakeholders including banks, auditors, tax authorities.
10. Driveprocess improvements implement best practices in financial control reporting.
Qualifications & Experience (Mandatory):
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, a related field. Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA, CA) is a strong plus.
2. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a dedicated cost controlling role.
3. Solid understanding practical experience in accounting taxation; ability to manage bookkeeping tax filing processes independently.
4. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking skills with a detail-oriented approach.
5. Outstanding communication interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
6. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across allganizational levels build strong relationships with internal external partners.
Preferred Qualifications (Advantageous):
1. Priexperience in project controlling within a project-based company (e.g., engineering, construction, consulting) significant experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
2. Experience working in a multinational corporation a global matrixed environment.
3. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems MS Excel.
