Your role responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to ABB’s success with technology, software, product, system development. Each day, you will identify implement innovative solutions to relevant problems. You will also showcase your expertise by providing ideas by being able to work both independently as a part of a Research & Development (R&D) team.
This role is contributing to the EL Smart Power business in Xiamen China
You will be mainly accountable for:
● Lead execute the product localization project to ensure timeframe, quality cost requirements;
● Support execute fnew product development project industrialization to ensure timeframe, quality cost requirements;
● Provide technical support fimprovement projects such as OPEX saving, FPY, second source, etc.
● Leading of engineering change implementation in manufacturing unit;
● Clarify product/part requirement perform sample evaluation;
● Lead trial production & small batch production fthe quality validation;
● Provides technical support to manufacturing unit fproduct problem solving;
● Responsible fmPart& mBOM maintenance in gPLM;
● Execute fproduct optimization development project (POD).
● Lead abnormal production technology issues analyzing & solving based on PPS rule;
● Support PFMEA analysis improvement, assist other department fsupplier audit;
● Provides support to production other departments during the internal/external process/equipment start-up;
● Define the product testing parameter;
● Product direct cost benchmark set up;
● Product direct cost monitoring early warning;
● Collect evaluate necessary mold budget fmass production operation the new product development;
● Responsible fmold investment application evaluation decision making;
● Provide technical support to mold supplier if technical problem happen.
Qualifications fthe role
● Bachelor’s degree above in Mechanical Electrical Engineering relevant fields
● At least 3 years working experience with min. 1 years’ experience in product design
● Understthe Function design method, good experience at using tolerance analyzing
● Proficient of MS office, well understAutoCAD, CREO UG
● Good ofal, reading express technical solutions in English
● Have strong analytical skills good communication skills, know how to observe, analyze the results caused by process changes design issue, takes rapid actions to prevent them beforehand.
● Knowledge of common used engineering materials, e.g. metals, plastics, etc.
● Familiar with moulds jigs
● Ability to work independently without supervision able to handle high volumes of work.
● Familiar with problem solving tools such as Lean Six Sigma, FMEA, DOE, FMEA, SPC, MSA, etc.
