Position: R&D Robotics Mechanics Engineer
Location: Shenzhen Shanghai, China
Report to: CTO China
Headcount: 1
Key responsibilities:
1) System development, design, construction of mechatronic gripping systems fautomation robotics systems.
2) Successful expansion of SCHUNK-Portfolio findustrial robots, Cobots, AMR, AGV Humanoid Robotics.
3) Testing optimization of both developed existing systems with responsibility fthe entire system: motor, encoder, brake, gearbox, etc.
4) Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams both internally externally fthe successful implementation of projects.
5) Working in a dynamic environment with opportunities findividual development.
6) Support in building efficient structures in research development department.
Requirements:
1) Many years of experience in the development of electric drive systems, preferably in the area of robot end-effectors.
2) In-depth knowledge in small electric motors encoders, motcontrols, electric braking systems, mechanical gears.
3) Excellent design skills systematic thinking.
4) University degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, a comparable field.
5) Proficiency in CAD software; experience with PTC CREO is an advantage.
6) Good English skills, both spoken written.
7) Ability to work independently, initiative, teamwork skills, strong communication skills.
