Overview:
This is a 6-month contract role fa professional Business Analyst to join DFI’s China IT team, focusing on the digital project delivery of cross-border retail e-commerce new business. The incumbent will work closely with the Cross-border team, DFI Group regional IT team external service providers, taking end-to-end accountability fthe delivery of a portfolio of core digital projects — including the WMP system implementation (covering new OTC store launch cross-border tax fee issue remediation), ERP system consolidation of TM, JD PDD three maje-commerce platforms, OTC mini-program rollout, the implementation of Taobao Flash Sale Warehouse other e-commerce new business initiatives. You will be responsible fend-to-end business requirement analysis, cross-stakeholder coordination, project progress tracking problem resolution, ensuring all the above core projects are delivered on schedule, on budget in line with DFI Group’s business operational needs digital transformation goals. Strong business acumen in retail/cross-border e-commerce hands-on practical experience in ERP system analysis implementation are essential fthis role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Requirement Discovery & IT Translation
Deeply partner with the cross-border team to conduct in-depth business demresearch, sort out business scenarios, process logic pain points, accurately translate business needs standardized IT requirement documents (BRD/FSD) with clear functional specifications, data logic acceptance criteria. Act as the core communication bridge between the business team, Group regional IT team external vendors, align demcognition solution direction among all parties in a timely manner, assist the business side in screening determining the most suitable technical solutions matching business objectives operational reality.
2. Full Lifecycle Project Delivery & Management
Take end-to-end responsibility fthe full lifecycle management of all assigned digital projects (including WMP system implementation, TM/JD/PDD ERP system consolidation, OTC mini-program rollout, Taobao Flash Sale Warehouse other e-commerce new business initiatives). Oversee the entire project process from preliminary research, solution design, development iteration, system testing/UAT to go-live post-launch initial verification; strictly control project schedule, quality budget, proactively identify project risks bottlenecks, coordinate relevant parties to formulate corrective measures to ensure all projects are delivered on time, with high quality within budget.
3. Solution Validation & Stakeholder Alignment
Review technical solutions proposed by the Group regional IT team external vendors, verify the consistency of solutions with business requirements feasibility in actual business scenarios, put forward professional optimization suggestions based on retail/cross-border e-commerce business acumen.ganize requirement review solution confirmation meetings with all stakeholders, promote multi-party consensus on project deliverables acceptance standards, track the implementation of solution optimization opinions to ensure the final solution fully meets business operational needs.
4. Project Documentation Management & O&M Handover
Establish follow standardized project document management norms, compile, sort out archive all project-related materials in the whole lifecycle, including requirement documents, process flow charts, solution design documents, test reports, go-live checklists, project summary reports system operation guidelines, ensuring the completeness, accuracy traceability of all documents. Responsible fthe systematic handover of all finalized project documents, system operation know-how key business/technical points to the operation maintenance team, provide on-demsupport during the handover period to ensure the O&M team can efficiently undertake subsequent system operation, maintenance iterative optimization work.
5. UAT Support & Issue Resolution
Organize support the business side to carry out detailed User Acceptance Testing (UAT), formulate scientific UAT test plans test cases combined with business scenarios, collect sort out testing problems, feedback abnormal scenarios in a timely manner. Liaise with the IT team external vendors to promote the efficient resolution of system bugs, functional non-conformities process logic issues, confirm the closure of all testing problems before project go-live to ensure the stability usability of the online system.
6. Ad Hoc Assignments
Fulfill other relevant work ad hoc assignments arranged by the company team leaders in a timely high-quality manner; actively cooperate with internal team work coordination cross-departmental business support, provide necessary BA professional support fthe company’s digital transformation business development as required.
Job Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree above, majors in Computer Science, E-Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management related fields are preferred.
Work Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience in business analysis (BA) cross-border e-commerce digital project delivery, with practical experience in ERP system implementation OTC retail/cross-border tax fee related projects is a strong plus.
Professional Knowledge: Proficient in ERP system architecture, core business logic full-process implementation norms; a clear understanding of TM/JD/PDD e-commerce platform operational rules cross-border business processes (financial settlement, promotion, chargeback, etc.) is essential; experience in WMP system operation/analysis/implementation is a plus; master mainstream BA document norms tools to output structured requirement documents, process & data flow charts.
Problem Solving Skill: Strong ability to identify core business/system problems locate root causes; excellent cross-stakeholder coordination conflict resolution capabilities, able to drive multi-party teams to formulate implement effective solutions; proficient in full-lifecycle project management, able to proactively identify project risks take corrective measures to ensure on-schedule, high-quality on-budget delivery; adaptable to fast-paced work able to bear the pressure of concurrent multi-project delivery.
Language Skill: MUST have proficient English reading written skills fefficient written communication with cross-regional teams external vendors; Plus fluent English listening speaking skills foral communication meeting discussions in cross-border project scenarios.
