Main Duties of the Jobholder
1. Coordinate discipline engineering to support yard fabrication.
2. Understthe full scope of work, contract type milestone schedules.
3. Co-ordinate requirements fconstruction engineering technical support with the engineering design layout teams the MCS group from design stage to work pack compilation execution.
4. Take part in design constructability reviews to ensure adequate planning, material identification input at design stage through to hook up.
5. Solve problems initiate site queries to ensure fabrication productivity.
6. Co-ordinate material issue including material requisition, report fabrication progress issue notices fcritical actions.
7. Review scope changes, additional works reworks initiate revisionders / changeders, register DTCMS.
8. Review project scope of work Task Listing, schedules, specifications understthe requirements deliverables.
9. At project commencement review the fabrication schedule, suggest corrections to the planning team.
10. Review design model / drawings fconstructability identify any special items / subcontract requirements.
11. Raises site queries to implement revisions to assist build sequencing improve productivity.
12. Review venddata finterdisciplinary interfaces as required.
13. Monitwork pack issue advises priorities to the lead designer discipline manager based on material availability scheduled deliveries etc.
14. Provide assistance to MCS group in the requirements fmaterial top upders miscellaneous requirements.
15. Raise Site Queries to utilise available material (substitutions) deviations as required.
16. Prepare issues activity notice to the client / all concerned people.
17. Report weekly fabrication progress monitors production -hours productivity.
18. Review 4 week look ahead plans identify the constraints (material / drawings )
19. Develop Co-ordinate with construction engineer to ensure procedures are issued timely / all parties understany change.
20. Co-ordinate support construction supervisto manage sub-contractors if any.
22. Preparation of punch lists, closure tracking
23. Red line mark up signing of as-built fabrication drawings.
