供应商发展工程师将作为供应商与southgate之间的关键接口，推动整个供应商基础的质量、能力和绩效改进。该岗位的重点是通过加强供应商的自主管理、改进流程及确保预期目标的清晰一致，来减少对现场检验的依赖。
岗位职责：
供应商质量与绩效
1.作为工厂质量保证团队与内部利益相关者之间的主要联络人；
2.审查并分析供应商的测试报告及工厂检验数据；
3.识别趋势、风险及提升产品质量的机会；
4.通过发展供应商能力，减少对南门质量控制检验员的依赖；
5.与供应商建立牢固、协作的关系；
6.培训供应商了解公司质量标准、测试流程及预期要求；
7.评估供应商的优势与劣势，以指导采购和分配决策；
8.在供应商工厂内部推动持续改进计划；
9.沟通与利益相关者管理；
10.清晰地向供应商传达要求与期望；
11.充当供应商反馈、挑战及改进建议的传导渠道；
12.在处理不符合项问题时，通过简化沟通渠道来降低复杂性；
13.支持与采购、质量和运营团队的跨部门协作。

Role Overview
The Supplier Development Engineer will act as the key interface between suppliers Southgate, driving improvements in quality, capability, performance across the supplier base. The role focuses on reducing reliance on onsite inspection by strengthening supplier ownership, improving processes, ensuring clear alignment of expectations.
Roles Responsibilities:
Supplier Quality & Performance
•Act as the primary link between factory QA teams internal stakeholders
•Review analyse supplier test reports factory inspection data
•Identify trends, risks, opportunities to improve product quality
•Reduce dependency on Southgate QC inspectors through supplier capability development
•Build strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers
•Train suppliers on company quality standards, testing protocols, expectations
•Assess supplier strengths weaknesses to guide sourcing allocation decisions
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives within supplier factories
Communication & Stakeholder Management
•Clearly communicate requirements expectations to suppliers
•Act as a conduit fsupplier feedback, challenges, improvement ideas
•Reduce complexity by streamlining communication channels during non-conformance issues
•Support cross-functional collaboration with sourcing, quality, operations teams
Job Description：

• Experience in quality, supplier development, manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of quality systems, testing methods, process control
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders (internal external)
• Ability to analyse technical data inspection reports
• Commercial awareness understanding of supply chain dynamics
