Responsibilities:
Serve as network subject matter expert, providing technical support to a complex global network environment.
Support network solutions i.e. routing, switching, SDWAN, DDI, etc.. Fthese services the candidate will be:
• Monitmaintain network infrastructure, raise tickets to vendors fRMA spare tech support services.
• Troubleshoot resolve network issues to ensure minimal downtime optimal performance
• Collaborate with IT teams in cross-functional troubleshooting
• Maintain documentation network processes procedures up to date
• Perform RCA (root cause analysis) on issues, taking preventative measures to avoid reoccurrence
• Collaborate with Architect Engineering teams to improve the network reliability performance
• Application transport network infrastructure protocols, such as EIGRP, BGP, OSPF
• Evaluate refine handover training documentation provided by engineering teams
• Participate in on-call rotation fafter-hours network support
• MonitWAN circuit in global sites, report issues to vendors with any outage
Education, Experience Certifications:
• 4-year degree in Information Technology equivalent combination of education experience
• Experience with network monitoring management tools.
• 3+ years’ experience of campus network operation, redundant network design maintenance troubleshooting fcross site WAN/LAN performance routing issues.
• CCNA ACE Lv2 (Arista Certified Engineer) is mandatory, CCNP ACE Lv3 is better
• Experience analyzing requirements fimplementing, supporting, troubleshooting network devices/functions/tools/processes is a plus
Required Skills
• Understanding of network protocols technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
• Experience with automation coding, scripting Network changes.
• Skilled in configuring managing network devices (e.g., routers, switches, wireless).
• Configuring using monitoring/alerting/forensic tools (e.g. SolarWinds, NetBrain, CACTI, Wireshark)
• Experience with network security practices tools (e.g., NAC)
• Excellent problem-solving analytical skills.
• Strong communication interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as part of a global team.
• Cisco Arista H/W experience is also mandatory (Layer 2, Layer 3 switches, also experience on Cisco Switch redundancy design)
• Experience of Cisco (WLC) Juniper Mist would be nice to have
• VMware SDWAN would be also extra benefits
Travel Requirement
• Potential travel of up to 30%, which may include international destinations
