5.5+ years of experience of managing analytics&BI projects, with successful project experiences in using data to drive business value fsenianalyst.

6.Experience in data governance, data quality management, data processing insights

7.Strong in data visualization tool such as Tableau, PowerBI.etc), as well as in BI portal products

8.Excellent in planningganization of project, able to use data to identify solve problems

9.Experience in retail, CRM, supply chain production is a plus

We are seeking a data professional with combined expertise in data analysis data warehousing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will focus on leveraging data analysis to drive overall data initiatives. This role will be responsible fdesigning optimizing data models, handling complex datasets, improving data quality processing efficiency. We expect the candidate to work independently while also collaborating closely with the team as needed to drive data-driven business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design maintain data warehouse architecture to support various business lines, including but not limited to Attractions, Mobility, Hotels.

- Develop a deep understanding of each business line use data analysis to support business decisions strategy development.

- Build optimize data models to ensure data accuracy reliability.

- Independently handle optimize complex datasets, enhancing data quality processing workflows.

- Collaborate closely with both business technical teams to ensure data solutions meet business requirements.

- Write technical documentation maintain the data warehouse’s data dictionary.

Qualifications:

- Over 5 years of experience in the data warehouse field.

- Proficient in SQL database technologies, with hands-on experience managing large-scale databases.

- Strong experience in data model construction, with the ability to independently design optimize complex data models.

- Extensive experience in data quality underlying data processing, with the ability to effectively resolve data issues.

- Familiarity with DBT practical experience is preferred.

- Strong analytical thinking problem-solving skills, with the ability to complete projects independently.

- Excellent communication teamwork skills, capable of effectively interacting with team members from diverse backgrounds.

Business Intelligence (BI) is a foundational component of delivering the insights to ourganization to meet this strategic pillar. This role will be critical towards execution of the priority to position Manulife as a digital customer leader by supporting a robust BI platform delivery framework fvarious business reporting initiatives.

Duties
• Play team lead role fthe delivery of priority global, regional, local BI programs fvarious businesses functions.
• Engage senistakeholders ensure alignment on priorities roadmap.
• Collect business requirements from stakeholders including business owner, business user, product owner, etc.
• Prepare project plan subsidiary plan (communication, training plan etc) project registers (risk, issues, actions, decisions)
• Direct the day-to-day project activities manage the team towards project objectives.
• Lead the team to deliver required ETL other data applications via Cloud-based Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) platform.
• Lead the team to execute data gathering cleansing to ensure data accuracy reliability, data transformation integration suitable format fanalysis, developing charts/graphs dashboards to present data insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives supported by visualizations.
• Provide regular updates to senistakeholders seek guidance.
• Handle problem resolution escalates issues/risks to sponsors / steering committee as required.
• Contribute to automation processes ffaster deployment.
• Contribute to standardization of testing, validation, acceptance, monitoring processes fBI fgreater user confidence.
• Contribute to establishment of BI delivery standards that ensure reusability scalability.
• Contribute to centralized library of BI best practices that balances oversight with protection of our data.
Skills Qualifications
• Proficient in Data Manipulation, Data Analysis, Data Warehousing, Data Mining & Extraction, Data Visualization, ETL processes
• Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, R, Spark, Excel fdata querying, manipulation analysis
• Experience with big data tools such as ADLS, Data Factory, DataBricks, etc
• Ability to interpret translate terminology between technical business users
• Collaborate with geographically culturally diverse teams across various regions.
• Self-sufficient self-motivated
• Strong analytical problem solving skills
• Proficient writtenal communication skills in the English language
Education experience
• Bachelors degree preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics related courses
• 10+ years in one more of the following
• BI Analyst
• Data Analyst
• Team lead project management experience
• Experience in insurance and/financial industry
