Include but are not limited to:
Independently carry out efficient synthesis, purification and characterization of drug candidates for target validation, hit-to-lead and lead optimization projects.
Participate in the experimental plan under the supervision of senior members and assist in preparation of project reports, including final procedures and compiling all analytical data.
Performs routine analytical procedures necessary (NMR, LCMS etc.) to support development activities.
Manage and operate lab equipment; Maintains laboratory records in compliance with internal policy.
Work with internal and external teams to accelerate the project development.
M.S. in chemistry or related discipline, with industry experience preferred.
Strong background and experience in organic chemistry (methodology, catalysis, total synthesis etc) is required, along with a proven track record.
Demonstrated proficiency in basic laboratory skills (including NMR, LCMS etc) and familiar with Chemistry/Office applications (Chemoffice, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Good problem solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with members of the research teams in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment.
