As an EHS Supervisor, you will manage EHS aspects/hazards at daily basis, including the fire prevention, implementing monitoring of Environment/Health/Safety (EHS) process in plant to comply with all legal company EHS requirements. Work closely with operation & technical team to set up maintain PPG EHS management system monitEHS performance in ZJG plant.
Key Responsibilities
• Compliance with Regulations PPG policies, be responsible fEHS related governments’ liaison, ensure plants have valid EHS permits regulatory conformance.
• Be responsible fthe maintenance continuous improvement of EH&S management system.
• Establish implement plant EH&S objective/target/KPIs annual EH&S work plan. Set up site EH&S training system annual training plan to improve the awareness of employees to prevent incidents accidents.
• Responsible fPPG EHSMS elements programs that identify report EH&S risks hazards, monitoring tracking improvement actions through to completion.
• Set up the Emergency Response Plan in ZJG plant. Support conducting the emergency drill as planned.
• Coordinate the Implementation of PSM programs, Review JSA results based on Corporate EHS strategy
• Participate in new project ACT EH&S review tracking the EHS Actions in the ACT.
• Follow up improvement actions required by company audit at different levels.
• Support conducting the incident investigation, work out the corrective actions track implement status.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, safety engineering, environmental engineering equivalent.
• Certified Safety Engineer with 10+ years’ experience in chemical industry.
• Complex problem-solving skills ability to motivate others in cooperative effort.
• Strong influence skills, communication interpersonal skills.
• Specialized technical proficiency in Environment, Health Safety combining a broad understanding of involved practices principles.
• Have proven experience in ISO14001 ISO45001similar EHS management system.
• Familiar with China EH&S legislations regulations.
