Steinhardt GmbH Wassertechnik has been a specialist in urban water management for around 30 years. We develop creative and unconventional ideas that create efficient products and processes.
These innovations are made of aluminum and stainless steel, which save investment and operating costs.
We owe this success to our philosophy: We offer customer-oriented and innovative solutions by using existing resources found in nature , such as Hydropower.

For about 30 years, we shape the future and convince with waterproof concepts and environmentally friendly products. Our core competencies are broad:From wastewater treatment and rainwater treatment to sewer network management, flood protection and control technology.
What our customers all over the world like in particular: Our innovations reduce costs, are largely maintenance-free, work in an environmentally friendly way with water technology and are 'made in Germany'.
Realized projects in 72 countries
- EXPO venue in Shanghai: We realized a pioneering rainwater treatment for the entire underground of the exhibition center.
- Frankfurt sewer system: The flushing and storage protection system for the sewer system of the city of Frankfurt comes from us.
- Flood flushing system in Singapore: For the drinking water treatment in Singapore, we built a flood-flushing system with 96 flushing lanes.
- Rain overflow basin in Paris: We have also found an innovative solution for the rain overflow basin under the 'Grande Stade' in Paris.

The company’s headquarter is located in Taunusstein, supported by an international partner network of 200 partners and specialists.

Steinhardt is ISO 9001: 2008 certified and awarded twice with the prestigious "Ernst Kuntze Awards", an innovation Award given by DWA (German water association) and the "Innovative Technology Award" given by WEF USA.
