Role Description:
We are looking fa Python Developer with 3+ years of work experience who will contribute to the development, enhancement, maintenance support of GM research Insights system. This is an opportunity to work within a very strong development team help to develop challenging new products in the financial space using cutting edge technology
What you will be responsible for
• Develop, test, debug software enhancements solutions within the business technical problem domains
• Develop, test, debug, implement software programs, applications projects on cloud computing using Python, Apache Spark, SQL, DataBricks.
• Actively participate in the agile software development process by adhering to the scrum methodology including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives
• Triage production issues by reviewing code logs as needed come up with solutions
Preferred skills qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering equivalent.
• Experience with programing languages on Python, SQL, Shell Scripting.
• Experience in micro-services architecture understanding of cloud computing distributed systems is highly desirable
• BS/MS in Computer Science equivalent field
• Knowledgeable of commercial software development
• Ability to analyze business requirements develop solutions to the business needs
• Strong communication skills(verbal written), self-motivated, detailiented, highly responsible.
• Strong collaboration skills, working with multiple teams in various locations in an agile environment.
• Knowledge on AI/ML programming, Databricks Data Visualization is a plus.
