Ameropa AG is an international grain, fertilizer, petrochemical and synthetic fiber trading company established in 1948. It is a 100% subsidiary of Ameropa Holding AG, a Swiss privately owned company.

The Ameropa group currently employs worldwide about 1 500 people and generates sales of over USD 3 billion.

The Ameropa group has subsidiaries and representative offices in France, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Turkey, China, Brazil, Argentina, South Korea and Hong-Kong.

Ameropa AG supplies over 4,000,000 tons of fertilizers, 500,000 tons of grains, 1,200,000 tons of petrochemicals and 20,000 tons of synthetic fibers and yarns.

Besides the international trade we are engaged in a variety of other business that originally grew out of the trading but are now operated independently by our subsidiaries: Romerquelle, Agri-Negoce, Prochaska & Cie, Franz Beppler & Co., Profiber.

The Ameropa group currently works with UBS, BNP-Paris Bas and Credit Suisse in Switzerland, Dresdner bank in Germany and Standard Chartered in London.

Ameropa (Beijing) Trading Co., Ltd. is a company established in China and fully owned by Ameropa Holding AG. Its business scope ranges from chemical products and non-ferrous metals import/export to fertilizer export.
