Requirements
Day-to-day technology operations support at China datacenter Project in Shanghai area (Minhang District, Pujiang Town). The data center was put production in Mar 2024.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths capabilities, including working knowledge of a physical IT infrastructure (server, networking, storage, asset inventory, facilities monitoring, hardware secure decommissioning incident handling), hands on experience with hardware move/add/change in a datacenter environment.
Scope Working Hours:
Technology operations: (Full production data center)
• Knowledge of data center industry computer room operations.
• Skills in communication management with data center suppliers based on signed service-level- agreements.
• Deliver physical racking, stacking, patching IT projects.
• Supervise 3rd party vendconstruction works.
• Regularly review, file archive IT infrastructure related operational documentation on shared folder air drives (i.e., inventory sheet, asset list, life cycle management logistical records).
• Install configure hardware, troubleshoot hardware network issues
• Maintain change control processes in the datacenter, support 3rd party vendactivities.
• Responsible fmanaging incoming outgoing goods, as well as overseeing inventory operations while maintaining cleanganized storerooms to support business functions.
• Prepare assets fproduction installation, including unboxing, tagging, assembling components.
• Promptly report escalate any damages to incoming shipments.
• Remove IT hardware from production fstorage disposal as per company policy.
• Ensure secure disposal of decommissioned hardware, including data-bearing devices.
• Adhere to security protocols fstoring securing data center assets.
• Responsible fliaising with the ICT Team Lead to ensure delivery of the requests is within the expected timescales.
• Experience with ITIL control processes is preferable.
• Available fstandby emergency on-call services remote handling.
• Good commof written spoken English.
Working hours:
• Standard office hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm.
• May work in non-office hours, subject to business needs.
• Non-office hours weekends will be on-call basis. Staff will need to respond to emergency calls as required.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
Associate degree above. No less than 2 years of experience in computer science, information systems management, data center operation, business management a related field.
Accredited training in the installation of copper fiber structured cabling systems, preferred. Previous experience of using Remedy, DCIM tools BMS systems.
Work experience at banks/financial institutions MNCs preferred but not mandatory.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Bilingual in Mandarin English. Good commof both written spoken English is preferred
Ability to comprehend interpret instructions, short correspondence, memos ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries complaints from clients, co-workers, and/supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/large groups of employees.
