This role is responsible fdata characterization fHDD products its components manufacturing. He/she will improve methodology of problems detection triggering mechanism during manufacturing implement data-driven insights business operations fquality cost improvement. By delivering actionable feedback collaborating across cross functional teams, the role plays a key part in product quality, performance improvement operational excellence.
- Independently execute end-to-end data analytics projects, e.g., anomaly detection, yield analysis, predictive maintenance, with utilization of advanced analytic tools machine learning algorithms.
- Translate characterization results actionable business recommendations ensure implementation in production lines, delivering measurable value;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams (including Development, Back-End Process, Product Engineering Program Management) to drive improvement during the sustaining phase.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, manufacturing processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards regulations
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Master’s degree above in Statistics, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, Physics other relevant science/engineering disciplines(exceptional candidates with a bachelor’s degree strong project experience will also be considered).
- At least 2~3 years of hands-on project experience, with the ability to deliver end-to-end data analysis.
- Preference fHDD / relevant industry background, priexperience in production line analytics & big data mining.
SKILLS:
- Excellent problem-solving strong analytical skills
- Proficient in MS office, SQL & Python data analytic suite; master machine learning algorithms experience with JMP, SAS Spotfire is also a plus.
- Strong English verbal & written communications teamwork skills
- Ability to work across functions cultures.
