Globe Express Services ® (Overseas Group) was founded in 1974 as an international freight forwarder serving importers of retail products and consumer goods. By building a strong office network in mainland China and Southeast Asia, the company grew to become a prominent third-party logistics (3PL) provider in the fast-paced Transpacific shipping market. In March 2010, GES merged with the Overseas Group, a freight forwarder with complementary strengths in Europe and the Middle East. Founded in 1977, the Overseas Group built an impeccable reputation in niche segments such as exports, industrial products and specialized /project logistics.
