Position Summary：
Work with OEM customers R&D engineering team in the development of Electronic Control Units (ECU) with embedded software fthe control of an AWD Torque Transfer system, responsibility include management of ECU hardware supplier fprovisions of the electronics as well as internal software, validation, calibrations teams to bring together the ECU as a complete control system product.
Candidates must have strong technical project management skill with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in depth knowledge of the product / system development process to be able to support the successful integration of our product customer vehicles. The candidate must also have strong communication skill to build relationships foster teamwork with our customer multi-discipline product development teams. The candidate will be the primary technical customer contact point fBW PDS ECU development team.
Key Accountabilities：
• Present electronic control unit design system performance obtain concurrence from customer
• Manage system requirements conformance to customer specification
• Responsible funderstanding managing to closure product/system issues relative to intended system usage. Maintain customer action items list manage commitments to ensure customer needs are met
• Responsible finvestigating customer product/system related problems developing timely solutions.
• Represents BW-PDS ECU development department fthe support of appropriate product teams as product team member. Must also act as technical resource fthe manufacturing plants.
• Responsible fbeing the primary OEM Customer contact fBW-PDS ECU development team.
• Responsible fproviding facilitation of upfront analysis with OEM Customer of vehicle assembly plant warranty returns.
• Responsible freview approval of vendelectrical design, test plans, results.
• Support control engineering in development of algorithm
• Support customer test trips fsystems issues calibration
• Support vehicle demonstrations early prototype vehicle as needed
Qualifications & Requirements：
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering required (Electrical /Vehicle Engineering preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience (required)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with automotive embedded electronic controller product development (required)
• Solid knowledge with ECU hardware system design (required)
• Solid knowledge on vehicle network system diagnostic (required)
• Technical project management experience (preferred)
• Knowledge of CMMI, SPICE, APQP, DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, ISO26262 (preferred)
• Experience of functional safety activities at different phases including concept phase, system development, hardware development software development phases (preferred)
• Knowledge on vehicle dynamics control (preferred)
• Vehicle evaluation test skills - including limit handling (preferred)
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture methodology (preferred)
• Experience working with VectCAN tools (required)
