We are seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Project Manager for our Shanghai Office. The position entails working with a diverse group of stakeholders at different levels of the organization, multiple teams, and 3rd parties. The successful candidate will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload to ensure the final product delivery according to expectations and schedule. This position will report directly to our China GM.
Responsibilities:
Facilitating the definition of the project scope, goals, deliverables, and budget (where applicable)Working with internal customers to support the development of business casesAssisting with data gathering and technical studiesPreparing and presenting documentation related to project initiation Facilitating and coordinating communication with and between stakeholders to ensure timely decision making Responsible for project plan creation and task managementPlanning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating all individual project phases according to schedule, specifications, and budgetManaging day-to-day project activities including risk evaluation, change management and escalationsCoordinating in-house team members as well as any potentially involved third parties Conducting project meetings, setting milestones and reporting projects status Communicating risks, advantages, and recommendations to stakeholders Evaluating project, assessing results, and proposing process changes Cooperation with the project management office on global scale towards optimization of project management processes in the company
Requirements:
Proved 5+ years of experience with project coordination or management, preferably in an international IT environment PMP or other PM certifications will be a plus Expertise with various methodologies and project management tools Good negotiation and facilitation skills Good communication skills in both native mandarin Chinese and fluent English
