MAIN ACTIVITIES
- Achieving sales & EBITDA targets aligned with new product new market development fthe ongoing year
- Execute lead EV-Battery China 5 year plan in alignment with APAC Global EV-Battery 5 year plan as well as together with the development of a mid/long term plan fbattery
- Develop & execute strategic directions & projects fEV-Battery in China market with aligned APAC direction, including acquisition strategic partnership
- Coordinate supervise the China EV-Battery resources inder to deliver their objectives with further estimation to APAC market
- Achievement of selected milestones specific to new product development related to those applications segements
- Creation of new insights in marketplace through partnership with R&D techno scouting to contribute to build target technology road map
- Attend represent company at relevant industry events to support the promotion of company technologies uncover market insights data
- Sponslead cross-functional projects to scope the appropriate product range/application manage the roll-out with appropriate trainings MarCom support required fthe promotional strategies Creation of strategic market analysis to support direct current customer development
- Identify key players new prospects in the battery ecosystem

JOB DIMENSIONS
- In this position, the EV-Battery Manager (“EBM”) will focus grow company presence penetration of the EV more generally Battery markets across the Chinaterritory fthe 4 main segments globally defined in the Durable Goods (“DG”) GBU: Cell assembly, pack assembly, Thermal Management, Fire protection Electronics. The EBM will work in tandem with the APAC Mobility Director, the Global DirectBattery, e-Mobility, the global R&D leader fMobility/Battery, the Business Development leaders the local relays in the different countries; including Sales Manager, Technical Service Manager, R&D, Customer Service, Marketing Product Line Managers to drive profitable growth on EV-Battery applications. The EBM will be the regional coordinatof any EV-Battery initiatives, following strategic directions from the Global DirectBattery, e-Mobility.
CONTEXT ENVIRONMENT
- Position focused on new business development. Innovation is a key driver fsuccess. The ability to lead in a matrixed work environment is critical to succeed in the role to driving company DG GBU developments in the EV-Battery market. The capability to act interact regionally throughout China region with strong relays connection to APAC global key stakeholders is key.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science Technical field is required (Chemistry, Engineering). MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of successful Business Development Product Management related experience desired in the Automotive industry. Specific knowledge of battery market sectwill be an additional benefit.
- Proven experience working through matrixganization, strong cross culture mindset, pushing global initiatives to the marketplace.
- Strong sense of ownership entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to self-motivate tenacity in focusing fresults
- Strong business development acumen
- Excellental written communication skills in English with a strong understanding of various communication methods.
- Must possess a positive, “can do” attitude with an assertive engagement mentality illustrates good collaboration external internal.

- Must be proficient in MS Office, Salesforce, LinkedIn, web-site navigation CRM software.
- Ability to travel 40% of the time (including regular overnight travel as needed).
