主要职责：
61 Technical CAD modelling to create, modify optimize 3D designs
o Engineering focus on mechanical pump, drive shaft, pressure vessel hydraulic damper areas of design – optimized structural designs
o Working with the Simulation Team to work through any required analysis to support the design effort
84 Simulation request set-up post-processing support
84 Simulation experience (constraints, mesh optimization, load application, etc.) preferred
o Working with the Vehicle Packaging Team to work through packaging exercises 3D fit checks
61 Creation review of design related calculations; tolerance stacks, press-fit, o-ring, bolt torque, etc. with an emphasis on formal review documentation practices
o Preferred experience in pressure vessel design similar
o Preferred experience designing with cast powder metal materials; with a practiced understanding of material property definition per design criteria
61 Engineering drawing creation, peer review release approval responsibilities, with a focus on GD&T, implementation of drawing standards best practices
61 Supplier facing efforts; The SeniMechanical Engineer role will require the support of potentially multiple supplier development projects, including leading of supplier technical meetings, understanding of company specific quality implementations / requirements strong communication skills both written verbal. The role will support the Manufacturing, Quality Commercial teams as a technical representative in supplier meetings.
o Note – Onsite support at supplier’s travel required
61 DFMEA Project Support; The role will include the management of a sub-assembly portion of the overall system DFMEA, requiring the supporting of DFMEA team meetings, collaborative cross-functional reviews of various DFMEA workstreams.
61 Test & Development Support: Available to support project builds, test plans / R&D efforts in the Labs either at CMI, supplier customer
o Design of Experiment (DOE) type experience is preferred
o Candidate should be open to supporting lab based work when required
61 Root Cause & Problem Solving Efforts: As needed, this role will be critical in the technical support fany corrective action / 8D efforts that may arise either internally externally; working through the 8D process interfacing with the various cross-functional groups
o 8D / Corrective Action / Root Cause Analysis type experience is preferred
o Strong communication documentation skills required
61 Vehicle Packaging Design The role will include the tasks associated with packaging the product in various vehicle environments; supporting the back-and-forth communication required with the customer, evaluating various impacts effects of packaging options

o Education: BSc MSc in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering
o Required: Strong practiced SolidWorks modelling drawing abilities
o Proficiency with SolidWorks software
o Proficiency with SolidWorks drawing (experience using model items preferred)
o Min 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience with required exposure to electric motmechanical design similar
o Preferred exposure to FEA simulations including understanding of correct model set-up constraints, meshing strategies, general post-processing techniques (Ansys, Solidworks, etc.)
o Professional practiced communication interpersonal skills (English required)
o Detailed efficient written verbal communication skills required – Customer & Supplier facing experience preferred
o Proficiency in MS Office 365 products other related systems supporting project data presentation planning
o Design fManufacturing (DFM) experience with cast, powder metal, molding processes preferred
o DFMEA experience preferred (APIS-IQ Software and/Excel based DFMEA)
o Comfortable in both a team individual settings – bringing a self-motivated attitude to the workplace each day
o Available to travel fcustomer and/supplier visits if needed.
o Willingness to support suppliers across various time zones as needed
