大众集团公司创建于1924年；并于1997年在新加坡证券交易所主板挂牌上市，更名为大众控股有限公司。大众集团目前的核心业务是零售、分销、出版和电子教学。大众属下拥有四十多家子公司、合资和相关企业，经营和行销遍及新加坡、马来西亚、大中华地区和加拿大。
