宁波东方船舶设计有限公司，创建于1999年。专业从事船舶工程研究与设计，船舶工程技术咨询服务、技术培训、结构工程、船舶建造监理等业务。获浙江省船舶检验局颁发的甲级船舶设计资格认证书，是目前浙江省内*有实力的甲级船舶设计单位之一。

公司近年来通过不断引进先进技术，招揽各类管理及设计人才，形成了具有高素质业务水平的设计队伍和有效的管理体系。到2005年止已开发了200吨至40000吨的各个系列成品油轮、化学品船、散货轮、多用途船、集装箱船等运输船舶，并成功开发了汽油船、冷藏船，以及如打桩船，开底泥驳，对开石驳等工程船，初步形成完善、优化的船型库。目前正投入强大的技术力量致力于40000吨级以上大型船舶的设计工作及施工设计生产设计项目的开发。公司下设总体室、舾装室、结构室、计算室、轮机室、电气室、综合办公室，拥有全新的办公用房、优良齐全的设计设备，是浙江省内规模*大的船舶设计公司之一。现拥有高、中、初级各类设计人员六十余名，其中高级工程师11人。公司拥有先进的Compass-Rules计算软件，船、机、电生产设计放样及数控切割软件，国内外常用的IACS、BV、CCS等船级社的法规、规范、设计手册，以及门类齐全的船舶标准资料及各类打印机、绘图仪、复印机、晒图机数台。在设计中精心设计，与船东、船厂密切配合，努力为用户提高经济效益，不厌其烦，设身处地的为用户着想，受到用户一致好评。公司注重不断深化改革，挖掘潜力，加大对新型船舶的开发力度，走科技兴企之路。
