Working under the leadership of ESC (Ethical Supply Chain) Manager in China support the seniESC manager, Co-working with global ESC team, this position is responsible fassisting the development executing Deckers ESC program in the countries regions, excluding in Vietnam, Cambodia Indonesia, including A&A direct sourcing agent & licensee ESC assessments CAP remediation follow with different stakeholders, supporting EHS initiatives other programs fDeckers Supply Chain.
DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
30% ESC Engagement capability building fDirect Sourcing A&A Partner Factories.
1. Timely conduct desktop assessments virtual visits fnew onboarding A&A factories regular follow up CAPs to ensure all new factories basic compliance with Deckers ESC COC.
2. Track SLCP Higg FEM status fexisting A&A suppliers, ensuring completion system updates within the required time cycle.
3. Collaborate with cross-function teams to supplier disclosure information twice per year, including satellite subcontractinformation.
4. Enhance effective cross-functional ESC collaboration strengthen the Ownership of T1 A&A suppliers on ESC engagement from their own facility to their satellite subcontractors to control their ESC risk from Zero tolerance issues.
5. Lead bi-annual ESC of A&A VendScorecard, ensuring data accuracy timely submission.
30% Agent & Licensee ESC Engagement
1. Independently manage ESC vetting designation updates fagents licensees.
2. Enhance ownership among agents licensees by encouraging them to proactively align the ESC status of their associated factories regularly.
3. the A&A Summary with the latest engagement progress following each desktop review.
4. Collaborate closely with the global marketing/sourcing/trade compliance teams to ensure alignment of agent & licensee engagement risk mitigation efforts.
25% Network Collaboration
1. Proactively participate in Social/Environment Program, make sure to implement successfully deliver our expectation to A &A suppliers properly.
2. Working with global ESC team to support ESC/EHS workshops annual ESC summit. Proactively contribute creative ideas on updating & upgrading ESC policies/ Material/ principle tools.
3. Proactively collaborate with functional teams internally other brands 3rd parties externally to complete other assigned ESC tasks.
15% Align with Deckers Culture promote ESG/Sustainability in supply chain
Support team to promote ESG/AOK culture in Supply chain Decker regional office, contributing creative ideas on promoting AOK culture to our activities fsupply chain.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Any Certifications Required
Bachelor’s Degree & professional Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety Occupational Hygiene qualification
Year(s) of Experience & Background Required
Knowledge of labor, environmental, health safety legal statutory requirements best practice
3+ years’ experience on environmental, health safety management (prefer to footwear textile industry), social responsibility audits.
