The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, assigned to one of Pinkerton’s largest global clients, will inspect evaluate the client’s corporate offices, equipment, processes to ensure compliance with government safety regulations industry best practices. This role analyzes data, conducts risk assessments, implements mitigation plans while developing over-arching strategies processes to ensure environmental, health safety program objectives are met.
Responsibilities:
• Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, excellence.
• Understanding analysing EHS data information (e.g. EHS laws, regulations, benchmarking studies, industry best practices) developing implement designed programs to achieve global area level EHS goals objectives
• Partner with stakeholders (Security, Facilities, HR, Business teams, etc.) to ensure information on EHS policies is communicated, implemented executed upon among employees, vendors third-party contractors.
• Manage injury/illness incident management process.
• Conducting risk assessments of Amazon’s existing portfolio of corporate offices, identifying sources of EHS risk developing remediation mitigation plans.
• Assisting in the response to emergencies significant disruptive events impacting corporate office buildings.
• Develop processes procedures related to EHS fdesignated areas whenever needed.
• Develop annual EHS improvement plans, aligned with the Businesses strategic direction.
• Other EHS-related tasks assigned by Amazon.
• All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Engineering, Science EHS related qualifications). Five plus years’ experience in Environment, Health, Safety.
• Professional qualifications in EHS (Local international) familiar with office EHS.
• Deep understanding of EHS management system EHS risk management.
• Proficient in Mandarin, good English written verbal skills.
• Experience in fast paced, changing/growingganization.
• Ability to learn adapt well to a fast-paced environment with changing circumstances, direction strategy.
• Demonstrable experience with developing regional level EHS procedures processes.
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness management in commercial facilities.
• Experience in supporting EHS in commercial offices construction renovation of commercial facilities is an advantage.
• Work experience in a multinationalganization is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability.
• Result-oriented communicate with stakeholders proactively.
• Experience in prioritizing tasks to deliver results.
• Quickly learning mastering new tools, software, systems.
• Adapting seamlessly to changes in priorities, requirements, ways of working.
