北京索爱普天移动通信有限公司原名北京爱立信普天移动通信有限公司，成立于1995年8月，是由索尼爱立信与其中方合作伙伴共同投资兴建的中外合资高新技术企业，是索尼爱立信全球的生产基地和供应中心。公司通过建立工业化、制造和分销三大主营业务，实现成本领先、技术领先、用户满意和质量至上。
截止到2006年8月份，公司实现销售收入150 亿元，出口创汇14亿美元，产品直接出口106个国家和地区。今年上半年，各项生产销售指标相比去年同期，增长均保持在两位数以上。2006年公司又入选中国企业500强，中国制造业企业500强，中国通信器件和设备及零配件制造业榜单。
