DB Schenker was one of the first international forwarders to enter Mainland China in the late 1970’s and to open a Representative Office in Guangzhou in 1981. Today, Schenker has offices and logistics facilities in over 30 key cities throughout China with about 4,500 employees working on advanced logistics solutions and this number is growing steadily.

Schenker China Ltd. is the appointed Official Freight Forwarding & Customs Clearance Exclusive Supplier of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, following the outstanding performance of the DB SCHENKERglobalsportsevents team in previous Olympics such as Sydney, Athens, and Torino.

Furthermore, in September 2007, Schenker China Ltd. has been chosen as recommended logistics service supplier of the World Expo 2010 by the Shanghai World Expo bureau and will spare no effort to support a successful World Expo in China.
