Brearley Architects + Urbanists are a leading international partnership with a team led by Principal James Brearley and Partner Steven Whitford. WHAT WE DESIGN
Our organization has realized and been awarded for projects in Australia and China producing works out of our Shanghai studio. Awards include, but are not limited to: the RAIA (Vic Chapter) Institutional Architecture Award and the RAIA (Vic Chapter) Regional Prize in 2001; The Jin Qiao Leisure Center (2001) and the Nanjing Dongshan International R&D Park Architectural design (2011). Utilizing innovative urban strategies, BAU has won a series of urban design competitions, including Chengdu Networks City (2004) - 12sqkm addition to Chengdu； HongQiao Park (2004)；the NingHai Powerstation Village (2002-2006), Tangshan New Tourist City – 14sqkm (2011) and Dongshan International R& D Park - 2sqkm (2012). Our Networks City planning model is gaining widespread acceptance. It prescribes an urbanism of continuous program resulting in a city that is sustainable in terms of environment, economics and culture.
Our office is a renowned place of cultural exchange in Shanghai and regularly hosts events and professional speakers in our purpose built lecture space.

WHO WE NEED
At BAU we have an immediate need for strong Designers who can create innovative new ideas in collaboration or independently. As a Designer at BAU you will work in a team environment and unsupervised. Requirements for your eligibility:
- Professional degree in Architecture or urbanism
- Minimum 1years experience in your respective field (international office experience is an asset)
-Strong AutoCAD, , Sketchup Pro and Adobe Suite skills (experience in 3Dmax, Rhino and Grasshopper is an asset) Strong AutoCAD, , Sketchup Pro and Adobe Suite
- Strong conceptual and design talent
- Experience in all design phases
- Experience with large scale and complex projects
- Fluent in English (Mandarin is an asset)
- Confidence in working in a complex international environment

-建筑或规划专业学位
-至少一年相关工作经验（国际化事务所工作经历优先考虑）

-拥有所有设计阶段的工作经验
-有大型项目工作经验
-良好的中英文能力
-自信可以在国际化环境下工作
