Hog Slat, Incorporated has been in business since 1969 and is among world leaders in providing facilities and equipment for pork and poultry producers. We service those customers through a network of Sales Representatives and Retail Sales Centers (currently 60 + retail locations in the US and abroad) as well as Design, Construction and Manufacturing professionals located throughout the United States, Mexico, Romania, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and China.
Our outside sales force primarily focuses on selling:
- New Barn Construction Projects
- Retrofit/Remodel Projects on existing barns
- Equipment Packages (for customers who provide their on general contracting service)
We ensure the quality of the goods and services sold by our outside sales force in two ways. First, we control steel hog penning equipment and flooring quality by producing and testing those products in our own facilities. Not only do we operate modern and efficient concrete and steel equipment fabrication plants, we also use our own network of pork production operations to test our equipment and flooring before it is sent to market.
Our retail stores sell replacement parts & equipment for the mechanized systems in those facilities. These stores offer the widest variety of pork and poultry industry parts on the market including Grower Select brand products which are designed and quality tested by our in-house team of engineers.
The combination all of these capabilities with the years of expertise in pork production cement our position as a world leader.
