China has become important for Ferrum for a number of years. Ferrum cooperated with Melchers Techexport since mid-90s to position itself in the Chinese market. More than 400 centrifuges and close to 200 seamers are installed in this fast growing market. Ferrum was during all the years responsible for installation and repair / maintenance for the installed base of machines.

As a logical step to serve this key market for Ferrum better, the board of Directors of Ferrum Ltd. decided in 2015 “Ferrum goes China”. With this step we are closer to our customer and can take care of them directly and respond efficiently without any delay. Ferrum believes in many more years of successful business in China, to the benefit of all parties involved. After preparation for over one year, it finally declared its opening to public. Ferrum is located in Kunshan in the premises of the Start-up Factory (SUF). The SUF concept to support foreign companies – “plug and play”- to get a smooth start on their own in China is ideal for our goals. Some of the administration tasks are outsourced to SUF; as a consequence the Ferrum team can be focused on Sales, Service and Trainings for our customers. The opening of Ferrum China is another milestone for Ferrum which has posed itself as an authoritative seamer and centrifuge expert with over 100-years experiences.
