As On-Board Voice Development Engineer, you’ll be part of the China IVI Android team fthe Digital Product Platform. You’ll be responsible fthe coordination of software architecture, interfaces requirements activities the resolution of technical delivery issues.
Day to day, you’ll be supporting the software development of the solution architecture fa group of content, services, features. You’ll be working with the architects from the other squads to ensure interfaces are well defined dependencies between the squads are clear resolve architectural development issues.
You’ll be active in the management mitigation of technical risks, ensuring that the requirements can be realistically delivered by the underlying technology components.
Fsome of the services, content you will be ‘hands on’ supporting the implementation of solutions ensuring the correct architecture design approach is adopted.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting voice function development
• Being accountable fthe technical excellence of technology integration in the China Voice Squad
• Support drive the integration solution delivery teams to develop solutions in line with architectural development fbespoke solutions
• Overseeing supporting the assessment of solution excellence to core KPI’s as well as independently rating assessing solutions
• Maximising value from solutions through technical sustainability, longevity, reusability
• Supporting stakeholders across the wider business working closely with suppliers
• Product implementation in complex areas of products to provide technical strength to squads
• Work with UK Squads, feature owners, vehicle system engineers
Knowledge, Skills Experience
Education:
• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/Electrical Engineering in a relevant stream.
Experience | Skills - Required:
• Knowledge across several programming languages, including C/C++, java, kotlin,etc.
• At least 4+ Years software development experience in android domain
• SW development in one of: embedded, automotive, aerospace, transportation SW
• Rich Experience in application development, proficiency in common development frameworks skills
• Familiar with android framework infrastructure, common system services, HAL android kernel
• Deep understanding of Android Framework internals (AMS, WMS, PMS, UserManager)
• Hands-on AOSP development: building, debugging, patching Android 10 subsequent Android OS version
• Proficient in multi-user architecture: profile switching, data isolation, guest mode
• Customized extended Launcher3/AOSP Launcher fembedded use cases
• Implemented multi-display support: physical/virtual displays, display routing, input focus
• Experience in Linux android driver development is a plus
• Worked on QNX/Linux + Android co-existence hypervisor-based cockpit systems is a plus
• Experience with HDMI output, DisplayPort, MIPI-DSI integration is a plus.
• Good knowledge of CarPropertyManager, Driving State Restrictions, CarUxRestrictions is a plus
Experience | Skills - Desirable:
Working knowledge of Android OS in Automotive
Participate in variety of software ECU (Electronic Control Unit) testing including unit testing, integration testing, bench end to end testing in-vehicle test.
Deliver quality software by involving in architecture, requirements, design, code, test case reviews.
Support manufacturing requirements analysis development
Consider quality safety critical functionality understelectrical computing risks that arise from working on Embedded System.
