EDS began operations in China in 1992. Today, EDS has permanent offices
located in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Wuhan. EDS China is committed to
working with local companies and governments to accelerate IT services industry
growth and to assist clients' strategic moves to become active players in the
growing China market.
In 2006 EDS opened its applications development center in Shanghai and in 2007
EDS opened its first China Global Service Center (GSC) in Wuhan. GSCs have the
capabilities and capacity to support a full range of industry-focused applications,
business processing and infrastructure outsourcing services from a single
location.
