Reporting to QA Supervisor, you as a Quality Engineer will be responsible fdriving product process quality across new product introduction mass production. This role ensures effective customer issue resolution, internal supplier quality improvement, robust quality system execution. You will work closely with cross functional teams to identify quality risks, implement corrective preventive actions, continuously improve product reliability, process capability, customer satisfaction.
About the job:
• Ensure product process quality throughout new product introduction mass production.
• Lead customer quality activities including customer complaint handling, customer meetings, sample analysis, structured root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D.
• Ensure timely customer feedback, on time closure of corrective actions, verification of corrective action effectiveness.
• Drive internal manufacturing process improvement raw material quality issue resolution through QRQC MRB activities.
• Coordinate cross functional teams to implement, track, validate corrective preventive actions.
• Support new product development projects by tracking quality issues at each project milestone leading improvement actions.
• Identify critical characteristics define appropriate inspection standards quality documentation, including Control Plans.
• Capture apply lessons learned to prevent recurrence improve future project execution.
• Lead quality validation fnew process changes new equipment introduction, including PPAP submission approval activities.
• Develop execute MSA plans, analyze measurement system capability, ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Prepare support internal external audits, accompany auditors on site, address audit findings, lead internal process pre audits.
• Perform other quality related tasks as assigned to support business objectives.
About you:
• Bachelor’s degree above in Engineering other STEM related disciplines (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, equivalent).
• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering roles, such as PQE, CQE, and/AQE.
• Solid working experience in automotive, electronics, electromechanical industries is strongly preferred.
• Hands on experience supporting process quality improvement, customer quality management, new project quality activities.
• Strong knowledge practical application of core quality tools including APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC.
• Good interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross functional teams.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both written verbal.
• Results driven, detailiented, capable of working under pressure in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in standard office software quality documentation systems.
